On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating that January 22 would be the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day.
Today, churches across the United States recognize the third Sunday in January as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. On this day, we celebrate our God-given right to life, honor those lost to abortion, and commit to protecting life at every stage.
