Session 1: Savannah Marten
Executive Director at Bella Vita Network
About Savannah: Savannah Marten has served in the pro-life movement for 12 years. Savannah is the Executive Director at Bella Vita Network, which houses Soul Purpose, The Pregnancy Center, and The Haven. Savannah’s passion for pregnancy centers stems from her deep love for the Lord and helping to encourage women in their worth and to live in purity. “If one person would have told me I could walk in purity as a young college woman I would have believed them, but there was no one saying that to me.”
Being a bridge for her community to love the women Bella Vita serves is one of her greatest passions. She enjoys encouraging groups to dream with God about their city, walking in their identity, and loving people the way God intended. She also enjoys working with organizations in board training and strategic planning. She was recently appointed by Senator Matt Huffman to serve on the Commission on Infant Mortality. Savannah is married to Ryan, her best friend and the love of her life. Savannah adores her dog, Louie, cruising around town in her Jeep, anything Toledo, worship, and cooking and enjoying meals around the table.

Our Worship Leader: Dwight Beal
Recording Artist, Director of Worship
Dwight fell in love with pop music in the mid-70s. Suddenly, he wanted to play piano less like Beethoven and more like Billy Joel. In the early 80s, Dwight met two people who would change his life forever— a jazz pianist named Julie, who taught him a whole new way to approach music, and a Jewish rabbi named Jesus, who taught him a whole new way to approach life.
In college, Dwight joined a Christian rock band, where he met his longtime music partner John. After college, John and Dwight formed the Christian Contemporary music duo, Grooters & Beal, writing, recording, and performing throughout the Midwest and beyond. Dwight’s performing career gradually (and providentially) morphed into a career of leading worship— at Hope College (’94-’05) Central Wesleyan Church (’06-’17), and at VictoryPoint Ministries in Holland, Michigan (’19-Now). Dwight lives with his wife Betsy in the historic district of downtown Holland.
